The Depew Police Department provides the following services:
- Patrol of the Village
- Escort Service for Funerals (call with reasonable advance notice)
- Referrals of juvenile offenders to Youth Court
- Detective Bureau for investigations
- Community Policing Program (Foot Patrols)
- Dog control problems (notification of Dog Warden)
- Notification of Police, Fire Department, and Ambulance Services to emergencies
Parking Tickets/Ban
Effective June 1, 2007, Parking tickets are payable in the office of the Court Clerk in the 2nd floor of Village Hall (Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm). All other citations must be resolved in Village Court.
The Village of Depew operates a parking ban from November 15 to March 15 between the hours of 2 am and 7 am, in order to assist the Department of Public Works in plowing the roads. Vehicles found in violation will be ticketed.
Village of Depew Sex Offender Registry
The New York State Sex Offender Registration Act allows certain information about registered sex offenders to be provided within our community. This is provided in an effort to protect those members of our community who are most vulnerable to a particular offender. This information cannot be used for any unlawful purpose.
